The food here is amazing. I went to England and this rivals all the Indian food I had there. Their garlic nan is incredible and I love the lamb korma. My only critiques would be that they are often understaffed on the weekends and the Food can take over an hour to get to the table. The other thing I would say is that it's overpriced. With those two things in mind, it's still one of the best places to eat in Lake Tahoe.

I've gotten take out from here during SIP, but this was the first time I went to dine inside. Service is quick and easy. They use Toast Tab so you can either order and pay via the app, or you can ask for a physical menu and order from the server. Food came out really quick. To my surprise, one order of Momos is pretty filling. The chicken was great. I'd be happy to try the vegetarian next time. The red paste is tasty and spicy. Highly recommend getting this.

There was only one other table when we arrived and maybe 3 tables when we left. I was a bit surprised because the sushi place next door was hopping. The food here is tasty and not healthy at all. My friend had warned me that food would take a while to come out but it wasn't too bad perhaps because there weren't many people there. Prices are higher than I'd expect, but portion sizes are generous and we definitely took food home. Service was standard. We ordered the chicken momo, saag paneer, lamb korma, naan, and saffron rice. We ordered medium spice for everything and probably could have gotten it a spicier. Chicken momo was tasty but the skin was perhaps a bit overcooked because it was coming apart. Saag paneer tasted quite buttery and creamy and could have used more paneer. The sauce on the lamb korma was delicious but I wished there was more "stuff" in the korma. The naan was probably my favorite of everything that came out.

Delicious food. Great service. It was a nice break from all the American cuisine in south lake.

YUMMO!! What a great spot! This is the one of the first restaurant as we got into town...the bar is set! Luckily, there was no wait and our food didn't take too long. But honestly, I think good food takes time to prepare so I would have been ok to wait. The portion was very large. We had lamb karahi & saag paneer with rice & butter naan. Meal was good for two with leftovers for dinner. Highly recommend if you are looking for flavor!

I almost gave one star, bc you REALLY got to want to eat here. Props to the waiter for telling everyone they have a table, but the food would be an HOUR. So many people just left. My advice just smile. Take the table. Your food will be out soon after you order. Don't tell anyone. We had the chicken masala- coconut forward and quite thick. Momos were soso. Biryani and Naan were good.

Went on Monday...take out only...please notate this on your website..we were not the only ones there..... Went back on Tuesday..went smoothly..got the chicken tikka masala, butter naan, and rice. Also got a side order of the chutney and it was great! Portion size very generous, but for 20 dollars it probably should be. We sat inside and it got busier as the night went on. We really liked the food and will be back, might order spicier than 6 next time for it still was not very spicy.

We waited an hour to get our food. Although the restaurant wasn't too busy, I'm surprised at how long it took! It's curry and dumplings?! How long does it actually take to cook or heat up? The chicken momo was yummy, soft and smooth wrap and the chicken inside was tender. The butter chicken was standard along with the butter nan. The chow chow noodle was just blah. I'd only order it after a long day of snowboarding. It's a hearty noodle with frozen veggies. Nothing special but perfect for a cold winter day. I was surprised that the noodles were just packaged ramen noodles. Def odd. Overall, would come back to support mom and pop shop. But please for the love of god, hire more qualified staff! They had this kid running around serving, playing with his phone and eating packets of dry ramen. Can it get any more family run?

When I tell you I crave this place, I mean it! This place in South Lake Tahoe is an absolute gem!! Note when you come in, it will take a while to prep the greatness of what will be served but that shouldn't knock anything into the negative on your experience. When it comes to great food like this, I would rather it be so than it be on the burner just staying warm. Cheese naan and butter naan are a must, if you haven't had it, just do it! They ask you the spice level you want on each of the entrees. The vegetable samosa is great as an appetizer. Rice is served a la carte as you wish. Chicken Tikka Masala and Butter Chicken are my two go to favs but really you cannot go wrong here. Highly, highly, highly worth the drive from Reno even just to eat!
